Have you tried to scream
Within a dream
But terror won't come out?
You're froze with fear
And danger's near.
A whisper is your shout.
You're hypnotized
And paralyzed
And don't know what to do.
What is the deal?
Could this be real?
It seems as if it's true.
You try to run.
Your legs are done
As though you're in a web.
You retry a shout;
A scream rings out,
And you wake within your bed.
Relief you feel,
It wasn't real—
'Twas a nightmare in your head.
