jagged granite slabs apparently
drip
and slant
arousing a hurries series
of splash
and spray
and because i am borrowing another name
walking in waist-less shorts
sadly drunk on the wine
of used stories
the role of your hair will be played
by the breeze
the silk voice offered to shadows
the fate of this fort
romantic and degraded and simply
i am homeless
often persuaded to forgive kindness
suffer sympathy
and remind tourists
you've been known to linger
as some century smoldering
slip
and fade
allowing the teeth of this ocean
a bruise to bite
and sink
