at the old football stadium
sticky green leaves
shed weight, wither, color,
fall
is the nickname for autumn
my liquored up folly of friends
we must begin the detox rituals,
the rehab application processes,
winter is coming
soon
and new england winters
are no blessing for the homeless
we might even walk
to florida
if we had new shoes
let us leave this park
march crowded down the boulevard
i will be moses
i know a shortcut
