She knew how to cause a commotion
just drifting past some missionary boys
in suits that hung on them
like on a clothesline
concealing their puerile attentions
to her perfect roundedness,
held in place by a second skin stretched
to the point of exhaustion
Recalling warnings of dire consequences
from their elders, temptation tasted
all the sweeter in the presence of
such epic flesh
They discuss whose nerve is strongest,
and select the handsomest one
to go up to her and speak –
but she escapes them, heading out into the night,
in search of men having better skills
with which to convert her
