Sprinting in the grass,
the full-grown rabbits
trying to outrun the cold.
What mysterious country
are you going to?
The Canada Geese,
sailing as an arrow,
pointing straight south.
What do you know
of sunlight?
I move on again,
you stay again—
this is fall.
Better the parting now
than in a brighter season.
