Submission Guidelines

Please read the guidelines below.

So you want to have your story or poem printed by the smallest press in the world? You are either the humblest writer on earth or the most desperate. Either way, you came to the right place.

Open poetry and story submissions are now being accepted by using this submission manager only.

Short stories and poetry can be on any subject. Themed submissions about Inwood Indiana are given special consideration for publication.

When submitting, include a little information about yourself in the bio/notes area provided. We accept poetry, fiction and non-fiction about all subjects–with an emphasis on subjects of a strange and unusual nature. Special consideration is given to themed submissions about Inwood Indiana, The Midwest or Small Town USA.

We pay a small token payment to all writers who make it in. Payment may come in the form of cash by PayPal, free books, discounts, or contest reading fees. We vary these regularly at our discretion.

Simultaneous submissions are welcome without restriction. You may submit up to 5 pieces per month. Please separate your work, 1 per submission.

Submissions to Inwood Indiana are free.

By submitting you are granting permission to print your work in our publication, and future publications in print and online. You may still reprint your work elsewhere so long as you include an acknowledgment.

Please note: We will notify you to tell you if we accepted or rejected your work.

Good Luck!

Note: Writers maintain the right to publish their work with an acknowledgment. We do not restrict you in the proper use of your work. We maintain the right to publish your work forever.
